Harbor Freight Tag Along Trailer
« on: March 17, 2011, 05:13:33 PM »
I've just placed an order of the HF tag along trailer for my crossing the country 2011.  I will tent this year, so hopefully, this trailer will be roomy enough for all the gears, but light enough that's not slow me down as my riding habit. :)

I like to hear all the tips and tricks that you guys may have about this trailer.
Thanks much in advanced
Nick

Just received the trailer this afternoon, after 8 hours sitting home waiting for the truck, which was 3 hours late.  >:(
As it has been mentioned from many reviewers on HF site, both side running lights are borken in pieces.  The plastic bag that hold all the bolts and nuts are broken, so I am not sure that I have all of them, after searching the truck floor.  I guess I get what I pay for!
I have email HF, to see what can they do.
I have two work two more days until my days off, so I have to wait for now.
Wish me luck!

Update: HF has probably felt the heat from me, so I get the replace parts within a week.  Not too bad!
Now, I have to find the time to put everthing together for the big trip (Route 66) in July.
I think I have to wait until I return from the Thunder Beach Spring Rally.
There are still many things that I haven't done yet. :(
Time is running, and I am racing it!
A trailer, a good tent with added A/c, a good pair of tires, changing oils, and many more little things that I have not done a thing, but I have about two and a half months to prepare.
Wish me luck! :)
