Windshield Thinkness
« on: November 27, 2011, 12:23:23 AM »
Hi guys,
I am looking for a shorter, and aero dynamic windshield to reduce the buffering, but I have learned one thing that may be a problem for my set up as I have a windshield three pouches.
My question is what windshield has the thinnest thickness?
 Thanks much in advanced
 Nick

I have one of those new molded windshields and do not have any buffering with it,but it has developed some star cracking around the mount points. Can't think of the name right now but will look it up.

Thanks Gary!
I've decided to order the 9" aero Freedom Aire windshield, and I am very happy with the height.
I now can see over the windshield, but there is no magic on the buffering,  Everything is the same to me; the wind still hits my face as before, with the stock windshield.
That's OK!  All I care is the height.  It is a PITA when riding in the rain, and I barely see through the windshield.

Interesting!
I hope the price is reasonable, and it will not affect on plastic.
