04 Road King Handlebars

I am about to open up a can of worms. But here goes I am 5'7 just got this Road King and found the stock bars to far forward and not high enough. If i close my eyes and reach for where bars should be I am 2 inches higher and 2 inches back. Any idea what bars I can switch too and still use the same cables and wiring. Thanks Farmer

Welcome to the group Farmer!
I don't own a road king, but i have heard that a late model HD heritage bar will fit your needs, and you don't have to change wires and cable.
Check it out and let us know!

Thanks for the welcome! I will check out the specks on the Heritage style, after many years on a Yamaha I finally was able to get the Road King. Now I am wishing I had done so a long time ago. Thanks Farmer

That's interesting!
I was also riding a Yam for many years, and after test ride the Fat boy, I wish I have gone with the Harley long time ago.
I have to say that there are more works, and modifications with the HD, but that is the beauty of it!
You can do so much more with the HD than the metric bikes, and it's fun!  Not fun with the spending, but I guess we play we pay.
Enjoy and have fun!
