  • Just curious if there are any riders out there that have taken a VRod on a 2000 mile trip? If so, any pointers? I have a 2013 Harley Vrod Nightrod Special. I know it won't be the best ride in the world, but I think I am up for it. Planning on averaging 100-125 miles between stops. Goin to try and do 600-700 miles a day. I would like to get to my destination in 3 days.

  • I don't have V-rod, but I have seen many different kind of bikes crossing the country.
It depends on each individual physical and how bad one wants to get there. 6-700 miles/day/3 days is doable, but you will have to push yourself very, very hard.
I still don't see any reason why it can be done, except there is no enjoyment, as all you have is getting to the destination. ;D

  • Never ridden a V rod.6-7 hundred miles a day, have a good riding suit for the rain, stopping every 100 125 miles is a very good idea.If you have some time in the saddle and know what it takes to ride that many miles, you won't have a problem especially if all interstate with high speed limits.Take pictures...I wanna see..
Don't let the good times pass you by,grab all you can.
