Engine Light On

  • I have a 1996 HD Electra Glide Ultra Classic and the Red Engine Light keeps going on, staying on for 20 - 30 seconds, then goes off.  It will flash on and off like that during the entire ride.  If the light is on and I pull the clutch on, the light goes off.  I have checked the oil - oil is good and fresh.  Anyone have any ideas?  Could I be damaging the engine? :thanks2:

I have never read codes on a bike only on my truck but it seemed to very straight forward in this post.
