Add a Link Inside Your Post
« on: July 21, 2010, 07:44:08 PM »
It's simple!
If you want to add a link that will lead to another web site, then simply "copy" and "paste" the link address (URL) of the page, or site that you can to show inside your post, to anywhere in the body of your message.
For example:  http://www.hdvtwinforums.com

A little more fancy, if you want to assign a link to a word, or a group of words, then "highlight" the word, or the group of words that you want to make a link, then follow the below 3-step instruction.

For example:  To make a link for Harley Davidson and V-twin Forums

Step 1:  Highlight Harley Davidson and V-twin Forums as follow:

Step 2:  Then "click on" the "insert hyperlink"  icon.

Step 3:  Add your link address (URL) to the link code as follow (click to enlarge image):

Notice that the group of words:  Harley Davidson and V-twin Forums is sandwiched between the URL code.  Please remember to add an equal sign (=) inside the first URL bracket as shown in the above image.

Your are done!

Of course, send us a question, if you need help.
