General HD question

Rider states his bike runs good till it gets hot and then pizzes out,sputters and stalls.Took to HD dealer..nothing wrong with it.
Took to an all brand dealer and 400 dollar later,same deal,took back to dealer who put a hairdryer on it and it did stall out.Still waiting back for a reply as to what part the heat was applied to..this is all I know...I am thinking the one coponent that will work when cold but fail when hot are the coils..don't know the model or year of the bike.
