  • Please HONESTLY tell me whether you will let your friend borrow your bike for a day, or a few hours.

Why, or why not?  What is the unwritten rule?

Remember that your friend may get upset with you, and you may loose a friend.

To me, my bike is my "girl-friend", and my best companion.

  • I hear you.
I think this is a very sensitive matter, so I have posted your post on the other forum, and oh boy!  Everyone jumps right in.

To me, it is a BIG NO!

If the guy doesn't own a bike, then go to buy, or rent one.  For sure, it is not a good friend to put your friend in such situation.

  • I feel the same thing!
Too much time and work on my bike, and I don't feel good at all, if anyone else sit on it, let alone ride it.
Alright! my friends may sit on it, but not doing anything else.

  • I only let very few friends ride my bike and it is only for a few minutes. My bike is a total animal that will jump up and bite you real hard. I kinda warn them that it is a powerful bike.

  • Well the ones that I would let have more experience than me. My bikes has almost 75 to 80 more HP than what are riding. I have it modded out pretty good and it puts out 150hp at the ground. It is capable of 0 to 60mph in 3 sec. flat goes to a 100 in under 7 sec. and run 10 sec. 1/4 mile passes. This is all motor no power adders. So the few that do want to ride it go real easy.
